Blue Monday – the day when we are statistically at our lowest psychological ebb – falls on the 18th January this year and is unfortunately anticipated to be the gloomiest yet after a trying year of lockdown restrictions.
Among the hardest hit have been new and expectant parents, who are suffering record levels of anxiety. Parenting groups are closed, hospital appointments cancelled and grandparents are shielding, but THE BABY SHOW – the UK’s leading pregnancy and baby show – is here to let parents know they are not alone with a range of events and advice to unite pandemic parents and to help bring back the joy of parenthood!
On Blue Monday, The Baby Show will kickstart proceedings with a range of free Instagram Live events aimed at helping mums and dads find their Zen again! The programme will run throughout the day with presentations from industry leaders covering all aspects of mind, body and soul recovery:
8am: Join Charlie Launder from Bumps & Burpees for an early morning workout to get those positive endorphins flowing
11am: Rhiannon Lambert from Rhitrition will be sharing her favourite mood-boosting foods and recipes
1pm: Lunchtime meditation practice with Manjot Dehalafrom The Thriving Group
3pm: TV personality turned yoga instructor Casey Batchelor will be sharing one of her most popular pregnancy flow Yoga Blitz videos to get your zen on.
