Carmen Salvador jewellery is the must have this summer for us quarantined out moms and everyone else too, of course!
By Erica Loi
Founded in 2017 by Carmen Salvador, a Spanish living in Switzerland, she started hand making bracelets as a hobby taking inspiration of designs from a trip she had just gone on. “I really loved the technique and possibilities, so I decided to learn how to do them, and I started to play with different designs and color combinations I would fancy wearing myself. It was really fun so I kept on doing it and eventually my brand was born.”
Carmen uses high quality Japanese Miyuki beads which are made of glass but have a very soft and regular finish. She weaves all the bracelets she makes in a traditional loom and using strong but soft nylon meaning the bracelets are a second skin when worn.
With all the colours of the rainbow and different patterns, it’s no wonder Carmen finds influence in everything she sees whether it be a painting or a piece of architecture or nature.
Produced with love and by Carmen herself, these wonderful items of jewellery will be enough to put a smile on anyone’s face!
