Paddington™ Loves to Travel (And So Do We)

Blade & Rose teams up with Britain’s most beloved bear for a charming, comfort-first collection made for little explorers.

From Peru to London, and now straight into little wardrobes, Paddington™ is back on the move.

This January 2026, award-winning British childrenswear brand Blade & Rose unveils Paddington™ Loves to Travel, a playful new licensed collection that celebrates curiosity, comfort, and the joy of everyday adventures.

Paddington has always been more than just a bear. He’s a symbol of kindness, discovery, and that unmistakable feeling of seeing the world with fresh eyes, something Blade & Rose translates effortlessly through their signature design language.

The result? A collection that feels nostalgic yet modern, sweet but never saccharine, and perfectly designed for babies and toddlers constantly on the go.

At the heart of the launch are Blade & Rose’s iconic knitted leggings, instantly recognisable for their cheeky character designs on the bottom.

In this new edition, Paddington™ appears front and centre (and back!), complete with his famous red hat and blue duffle coat, wrapping little legs in warmth, humour and unmistakable British charm.

The range expands beyond leggings into a thoughtfully curated set of everyday essentials.

A super-soft matching top features delicate embroidered Paddington™ detailing, while a crisp white romper showcases an all-over London-inspired print, a subtle nod to Paddington’s city adventures.

There’s also a coordinating bib, ideal for daily wear or gifting, and a beautifully packaged muslin squares set that feels tailor-made for newborns and baby showers.

True to Blade & Rose’s DNA, comfort and durability lead every design decision. Each piece is made from high-quality, Oeko-Tex® certified fabrics, ensuring they’re gentle on sensitive skin while still standing up to crawling, exploring, snack spills and all the chaos that comes with early childhood.

These are clothes designed to be lived in, not just looked at.

Behind the brand is a story just as heartwarming:

Founded by Amanda Peffer during maternity leave, Blade & Rose was inspired by a simple, honest observation: her baby’s leggings were always on show.

Instead of pulling dresses down, she leaned into it, creating a brand that celebrates movement, play and the beauty of childhood exactly as it is.

Today, that small idea has grown into a globally loved family business stocked across Europe, Asia, the US and beyond.

Sustainability also plays an increasingly important role in the brand’s journey.

Blade & Rose continues to reduce its environmental impact by using Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) cottons across the majority of its products, alongside collections made from recycled polyester derived from plastic bottles, proving that playful design and responsible production can go hand in hand.

Paddington™ Loves to Travel isn’t just a collection: it’s a reminder. To slow down. To stay curious. And to see the world the way children do: with open hearts, muddy knees and a sense of wonder packed into every little journey.
