Lemon’s Kids’ Wishes for 2026: Big Dreams, Tiny Voices

Tiny voices, big dreams: what kids are wishing for in 2026 (and why we’re listening)

As the calendar flips to 2026, we wanted to know one thing: what do kids actually wish for in the new year?

Not the things adults tell them to want, not the “practical” stuff.. the real, dreamy, chaotic, unfiltered wishes that only kids can make.

Here at Lemon, we asked a few little humans to share their hopes for the year ahead. The answers were hilarious, heartwarming, and, honestly, sometimes wiser than anything we adults come up with.

Leo (8): “I wish my mom didn’t have to work all the time so we can play more.”

Africa (10): “I wish I didn’t get nervous all the time”

Mia (5): “I hope everyone eats ice cream for breakfast at least once a week. And the ice cream is rainbow.”

Joe (7): “I want to ride a rocket to the moon. But I’ll bring my little sister, she wants to go as well”

Carlota (16): “I wish to take my drivers licence”

Zé (4): ” I want to have Hulk’s superpowers”

Franny (13): “I wish to paint the sky pink. And maybe go there”

Manuel (9): “I want more pijama parties and to stay up all night”

Sofia (6): “I want a puppy that can also fly. And maybe it can do my homework too.”

Vasco (7): “I want to dive like a fish and see sharks at at the bottom of the ocean”

Lily (6): “I hope bedtime is optional sometimes.”

Noa (7): “I want a magic backpack that gives me snacks whenever I’m hungry.”

Zara (8): “I want a treehouse that touches the clouds.”

Oliver (4): “I wish my dad would tell more silly stories at dinner.”

Amira (7): “I want a library of books that read themselves to me.”

Theo (5): “I want a button that makes broccoli taste like chocolate.”

Ema (11): “I hope we all have more days where we do nothing at all and it’s fun.”

Some wishes are practical. Some are impossible. Some are so imaginative that they make us stop, smile and remember that joy is the most underrated resolution.

What we love about these wishes is that they remind us how bright the world can feel when you see it through tiny eyes: full of color, possibility, and the kind of courage that adults usually forget to use.

In 2026, we hope to carry a little of that magic with us, letting kids’ dreams inspire us, guiding us to slow down, to laugh louder, and to imagine bigger.

So, if your little one wishes for a pet dragon, more bedtime stories, or simply more moments of love, here’s to a year where imagination rules, kindness multiplies, and every day has a little sprinkle of magic.

Happy 2026, from Lemon, to all the kids and families dreaming big tiny voices, enormous hearts. 🍋
