Lemon Takes Florence: Inside the Colourful World of Pitti Bimbo

There are few places where creativity, fashion and childhood come together quite like Pitti Bimbo, and this week Team Lemon packed their bags for two unforgettable days in beautiful Florence.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Fortezza da Basso, Pitti Bimbo once again proved why it’s one of the children’s fashion industry’s most exciting events. From inspiring runway moments and exciting brand discoveries to meaningful conversations and beautifully curated spaces, every corner offered something new.
The atmosphere? Sunshine, creativity, colour and a global community brought together by a shared love of children’s fashion.

A Fair Full of Discovery

What we love most about Pitti Bimbo is that it’s about so much more than collections. It’s a place to discover what’s next.

As we explored the beautifully designed exhibition spaces, we met brands from around the world, spotted emerging designers, discovered Spring/Summer 2027 trends and caught up with familiar faces from across the industry. From heritage labels to contemporary newcomers, inspiration was everywhere.

The Runways Brought the Magic

No visit would be complete without the fashion shows.

From elegant occasion wear to playful everyday collections bursting with personality, the runways celebrated everything we love about children’s fashion. Colour, confidence and imagination took centre stage, with every show reminding us that kidswear is at its best when it’s fun.

Making Connections, the Pitti Way

Fashion is as much about people as it is clothes, and this year’s event made networking feel refreshingly different.

The lively Pool Club Speed Date introduced buyers and media to exciting new brands, while The Brand Lab created space for conversations about branding, creativity and the future of children’s fashion. It was inspiring, collaborative and full of fresh ideas.

Bonjour, Kiosk France!

One of our favourite stops was Kiosk France by Delajoie.

Part café, part showroom and part creative hub, this beautifully curated space celebrated French children’s fashion with effortless style and plenty of Parisian charm. It quickly became one of the fair’s standout destinations.

The Cabina: A Fresh New Addition

New for this edition, The Cabina was one of the event’s most exciting spaces.

Created as a hub for international scouting and fresh discoveries, it showcased carefully selected brands in an environment designed to spark conversation and collaboration. It’s exactly the kind of platform that shines a spotlight on the next generation of children’s fashion.

More Than a Trade Show

What makes Pitti Bimbo so special is that it never feels like just a trade fair.

Every conversation sparked a new idea, every stand told a story and every event offered a chance to discover something unexpected. From industry talks and creative installations to relaxed aperitivos between appointments, the whole fair buzzed with optimism.

Watch This Space…

Our time in Florence may have come to an end, but this is only the beginning.

Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing our favourite brands, standout collections, trend highlights, exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes moments from Pitti Bimbo.

Until then, thank you, Florence. You’ve reminded us exactly why children’s fashion is one of the most inspiring industries in the world.

Stay tuned. Team Lemon has plenty more to share.
