New sustainable kids clothing start-up, KOOKOO BUT KIND continues its partnership with John Lewis’ Great British Pop Up.

Throughout August KOOKOO BUT KIND will showcase their new eye-catching gender-neutral Be Kind and Endangered 2021 collections which includes a range of upcycled jackets as well as t-shirts, sweaters and accessories.
Knowing that kids’ clothing can inspire good as well as looking good, their hand drawn illustrations gently raise awareness of global challenges such as waste, racial equality and endangered animals. After all, both parents and kids deserve to feel good about engaging positively with challenges like clean air and animal conservation.
Designed and produced in the UK using the finest raw and recycled materials, all of their garments are chemical-free and produced in factories that get 100% of their electricity from renewable sources and use 100% carbon-neutral gas to minimise their carbon footprint. And every item KooKoo But Kind sells helps to buy land and reforest the planet through protected conservation partnerships.
Mother of three and founder of KooKoo But Kind, Anjelic Kumedzina comments “It’s great to be back at John Lewis again. As a small independent brand, it’s fantastic to have a concession in these well respected department stores and be exposed to new audiences, especially now the nation is returning to the high street. We’re absolutely thrilled to be part of the John Lewis Great British Pop-up and are looking forward to popping up in more stores throughout the year.”
KOOKOO BUT KIND forms part of the department store retailer’s Great British Pop-Upinitiative, which aims to give independent brands and makers the chance to increase brand awareness within the confines of a busy John Lewis store.
