‘WHERE THE LITTLE THINGS ARE’ book, launched by baby food brand HIPP ORGANIC, aims to teach parents and kids first-hand about eco-systems and the natural world through three short stories written by mummy bloggers Alison Perry, Our Tiny Diaries & Fizzy Peaches.
The creatures in the book, Spikey Mikey, Issy Bee, Wiggly Wendy represent the animals on the farm that help the crops grow to produce the vegetables used in HiPP products.
The book is made from seeded paper and ecologically friendly ink. It is one of the first books created whereby the front cover can be torn off gently once read and planted in the ground before flowering into a nature habitat, to encourage kids to connect with nature.
To coincide with the launch of the book, HiPP Organic also conducted new research which found that more than half of parents admit their children know more about sustainable living than they do, with over three quarters being told off by their children for unsustainable practices such as using too much water and recycling incorrectly. As well as there being varying levels of understanding from children about the roles these animals play in nature.
We love the idea and are excited to read it to our little ones and then have some beautiful flowers to look after.
