To mark its fifth anniversary, Envy celebrated in the only way that felt appropriate: with a night that captured everything the space has come to represent.
Anniversaries often look backwards.
This one felt very much focused on the present.
Friends of the brand, partners, familiar faces and personalities from Portugal’s worlds of fashion, television, culture and entertainment gathered to toast five years of stories written around the table and many more still to come.
The evening opened with an elegant welcome cocktail before guests were invited to experience an exclusive dinner created especially for the occasion by Chef Chakall, whose relationship with Envy has become part of the restaurant’s own story.
It was a fitting collaboration.
Known for transforming dining into an experience rather than simply a meal, Chakall designed a menu that celebrated the venue’s journey through flavours inspired by sharing, celebration and togetherness.
Every course became another chapter in the evening.
It’s a place where food, atmosphere and entertainment exist in equal measure.
That philosophy was reflected perfectly throughout the anniversary celebration.
The carefully curated dinner wasn’t simply about showcasing exceptional cuisine, it was about creating an experience where conversation lingered, glasses stayed full and every detail contributed to the atmosphere.

Of course, an Envy evening was never going to end with dessert.
As the final plates were cleared, the celebration naturally moved to Lust in Rio, extending the evening into one of Lisbon’s best-known nightlife destinations.
The transition felt effortless.
What began as an intimate gastronomic celebration evolved into a vibrant party filled with music, energy and the unmistakable atmosphere that has made both venues favourites within Lisbon’s social scene.
Together, Envy Lisbon and Lust in Rio continue to offer something increasingly valuable: an entire night under one vision, where dining and nightlife exist as parts of the same experience rather than separate destinations.
More than a restaurant, it has become a meeting point where locals, international visitors and familiar faces return not only for the food, but for the atmosphere that surrounds it.
The anniversary reflected exactly that.
Among the guests celebrating the occasion were Beatriz de Lencastre Caleça, Bruna de Magalhães, Inês de Brito Nogueira, João Jonas, José Condessa, Léo Caeiro, Luisinha Barosa Oliveira, Luís Borges, Marta Melro, Paulo Sérgio and Rafael Bailão, alongside figures from the worlds of fashion, television, culture and entertainment.
Their presence wasn’t simply about celebrity.
It reflected the community Envy has built over the years, a place where people return because of how it makes them feel.
Speaking during the evening, owner Joana Amaral dos Reis described the anniversary as a celebration of the people, experiences and memories that have shaped the venue since opening.
