Renowned for its ethereal children’s nightwear, cult London label – FAUNE – is launching its highly anticipated womenswear range piece-by-piece this summer.
The new womenswear range pays homage to the delicate vintage-style design FAUNE has become known for, which effortlessly translates to a women’s collection of day/night transitional styles, perfectly suited to embrace a more relaxed way of life.
Coined The Cotton Store, the womenswear collection includes nine versatile pieces spanning day dresses, bed/evening jackets and camisoles. Delicate cuts, satin and threads of gold lurex coupled with fine pintucking, embroidery and lace details add a sense of wistful romance to the entire collection.
“Right from the time we first launched, we were getting so many requests from customers all over the world asking us to re-create our girls’ nightwear, that was increasingly being worn as daywear, to women’s dresses. After three collections of perfecting the children’s nightwear, we decided it was the right time to not only expand the range to women, but to incorporate additional pieces to complement the dresses,” says FAUNE co-founder, Delia Moulding.
Standout dresses like the Jasmine and Camelia work seamlessly from day to evening, while the tiered detail of The Rose is that rare wardrobe staple, perfect for both a special occasion and a holiday. Timeless summer wardrobe pieces, The Dahlia, Viola and Tiger-Lily all share simple, thoughtful designs with loose silhouette shapes. While a dreamy satin slip dress, named The Primrose and a separate satin bed jacket round off the collection.
Both the Camelia (£180) and Tiger-Lily (£140) dresses are available now, while the rest of the range is available on pre-order, ready for delivery within the next one to five weeks, via FAUNE’s website.
Taking their cues from the women’s range, three new children’s dresses – The Hibiscus, The Jasmine and The Rosemary – have also been added to FAUNE’s Summer 2020 collection.
Available in sizes XS-L (women) and 2-10 (children), FAUNE is stocked in Liberty London, independent stores globally and online at faune.co.uk
