FABRIC FLAVOURS OPENS LONDON CONCEPT STORE

July 15, 2021

FABRIC FLAVOURS, the London-based baby & kids brand known for its playful & imaginative superhero-inspired designs is ramping up the fun with the opening of its spacious two-story concept store in Hampstead, North West London.

Customers can shop the full Fabric Flavours collection in-store which includes signature licensed tees, hoodies, joggers, swimwear and jackets as well as bags, caps and beanies. And there’s even a mini me’ range for parents wanting to get in on the action.

In addition to the Fabric Flavours clothing collection, the concept store stocks a comprehensive range of Micro Scooters, Accessories and Frog bikes – perfect for showing off the Fabric Flavours clothing. And a surprise is waiting for kids wanting to try out their scooters and bikes before they buy, as they head downstairs to the custom-built Velorooms where they can whizz around safely, getting the hang of their new wheels.

The Velorooms were built in collaboration with Four One Four Skate Parks, leaders in skatepark design. The designers are all talented skaters and BMX’ers who know a thing or two about creating a smooth ride having built the Skate Bowl in Selfridges.

Whilst the kids are safely testing out their bikes or scooters, parents can take a seat and sip on
a drink from the bar area upstairs and watch their little ones through the observation windows. Children are accompanied by a member of staff at all times and wear a helmet and pads during their time in the Velorooms, with a maximum of two children per room at any one time.

The concept store was previously a DIY and paint shop which was built circa 1920 and underwent an extensive refurbishment by Fabric Flavours. The original staircases were removed and replaced by reinforced walk-on glass to provide a glimpse into the Velorooms below. The original concrete floor was polished and restored to its former glory. The industrial feel, combined with the history of the space, has been lovingly – and painstakingly – brought to life by combining a mixture of old with new.

The shop is located at 301-305 Cricklewood Lane, NW2 and is by appointment only. Parking is available outside and the surrounding roads, apart from between 12-1pm.
