Bonpoint was created in Paris in 1975. Its unique style, imbued with poetry and embodies a certain idea of chic. The French art of living all over the world. A Bonpoint garment is recognizable by its poetic allure and multitude of details. The refinement and traditional know-how of an authentic Maison de Couture.
A two-story townhouse, on Sloane Street, blends Bonpoint’s storied French elegance with the energy of London. Designed in the spirit of a London townhouse, the flagship embraces Bonpoint’s love of combining tradition with touches of quirky modernity. Designed to emphasize the original building and historic local area, the new store is an entirely unique concept in Bonpoint’s London store portfolio. “Bonpoint is proud to open our flagship London store in a historic area that mirrors the house’s legacy and charm. The UK market continues to be of the utmost importance to us, as we look to inspire another Bonpoint generation in London.
— Pierre-André Cauche, CEO Bonpoint
Each element within the flagship has been carefully considered to create an elegant homely atmosphere. Decorative fireplaces, Kilim carpets and bookshelves instil a comforting and familiar ambiance. Traditional designs are sprinkled with eccentric and light-hearted details. There is a sense of warmth and happiness within the store. Elsa Dray animal sculptures are lively and whimsical. A touch of vibrancy is added by the jewel like ceiling sculptures from the French sculptor Elsa Blin. The house’s two iconic little cherries are present in the Cherry and guitar light garlands created by artist Zoe Rumeau.
Charming and instantly recognizable, they evoke the origins of this fashion house.
The new flagship features the just launched GARDEN THRILL drop from the Spring Summer 2022 collection. This drop takes you on a detour to Provence for a wardrobe as comfortable as it is delicate. Alongside the full seasonal offering the flagship presents the Ceremony and Newborn collections plus Bonpoints’s perfume and skincare collection.
